Calicut University has invited applications from eligible applicants for admission to 2 Year MBA programme for the Academic session 2016-17. Applications are also invited from eligible applicants for the Part-time MBA Evening programme (Self Financing – 4 Semesters) and to the merit seats of the MBA. Each 30 seats for mba evening program at Calicut, Palakkad and Thrissur.

For regular MBA 2 Year (4 Semester Programme), allocation of seats in such as way at Department of Commerce and Management Studies – DCMS (40 Seats), and 6 Self-Financing Centres under the Department : School of Management Studies, Thrissur (40 Seats), School of Management Studies, Thiroor (40 seats), School of Management Studies, Palakkad (40 seats), School of Management Studies, Kuttippuram (40 seats), School of Management Studies, Calicut (40 seats ), School of Management Studies, Vatakara (40 seats) and MBA (Health Care) offered at John Matthai Centre, Thrissur. As per university norms, if alloted centres don’t have required no. of candidates, so MBA evening programme will not be offered to concerned centre. Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission 2016-17 : To be eligible for calicut university MBA admission, must have any degree from calicut university or equivalent to other university which is recognized by the UGC or AICTE. The university pattern should be in 10+2+3 pattern (or 10+2+4) under regular stream. In all above mentioned cases, must have passed the bachelor degree examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate, including the marks of the languages, if any. OBC and SC/ST students are allowed relaxation in marks as per rules (i.e.5% relaxation for OBC & Other Eligible Communities and a mere pass for SC/ST).

For MBA Evening programme, 2 year’s work experience is needed additionally. Those candidates who are awaiting for their results could also apply for MBA programme. When students needs to appear for Personal Interview and Group Discussion, needs to submit all original documents before 30th September 2016.

How to Apply for MBA Admission 2016-17 : The application form of MBA admission 2016-17 is available online at university official website www.cuonline.ac.in. The application form fee is Rs 500/ (General Category) and Rs 167/- (SC / ST) to the Calicut University Funds by SBT online/SBT E-Challan/friends/Akshaya E-Challan. Students can pay fees by going through online mentioned website www.cuonline.ac.in. After filling admission form and paying fees online, applicants needs to take print out along with the original challan receipt and a self addressed Rs 5/- stamped envelope (26cmx15cm) directly to ‘The Head, Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Calicut University Campus, University of Calicut, Malappuram 673 635’ so as to reach the same on or before 26th April 2016, 5 P.M.

University of Calicut MBA Hall Ticket 2016 : Eligible students can download their hall ticket by visiting website www.cuonline.ac.in. The University of Calicut MBA Hall Ticket 2016 will be available on website at least 5 days before the entrance exam date. Without hall ticket, no applicants will be allowed to enter in an examination hall. Be remember that online ID is mandatory for downloading hall tickets.

University of Calicut MBA Selection Procedure : Selection for MBA admission for academic session 2016-17 is totally based on the score which is obtained in the CMAT entrance exam and conducted by AICTE/KMAT Kerala conducted by ASC, Thiruvananthapuram and weightage awarded for Plus Two and the scores obtained by the
candidates in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The minimum score needed for calling for Group Discussion and Personal Interview is 10% for general category and 7.5% for SC / ST candidates.
