About MBA Programme : The full form of MBA is Master of Business Administration. This MBA Programme comes under the School of Management Studies (SOMS). It is of 2 years master degree distance education course which is offered in both January and July session. The University has announced online admission in the management programme for July 2020 session by going through an Entrance Test, which is to be held in all over the country.
Interested Students can also seek admission to Post Graduate Diploma Programmes at Serial No. 2 to 6 through (Direct Entry) without appearing in OPENMAT entrance exam. The date of IGNOU OPENMAT-XLVII Entrance Exam is to be announced for July 2020 cycle. The distance university has invited online applications from students to take online admission for July 2020 session by uploading an advertisement on the university website www.ignou.ac.in and in local newspapers as well.
IGNOU MBA OPENMAT XLVII Admission July 2020 : This university provides online admission to other management disciplines along with the MBA on the basis of OPENMAT Entrance Examination. The SOMS offers a wide range of disciplines. These are mentioned below :

- Eligibility Criteria : All Students who wants to take admission in MBA (Master of Business Administration) course, The candidate must be graduate in any discipline. He must have attained minimum of 50 % marks for general category and 45 % for reserved category in graduation with 3 years managerial/supervisory/professional experience OR He/ She must have professional degree with 50% marks in: Engineering/ Medicine/ Chartered Accountancy (ICAI)/ Cost and Works Accountancy(ICWAI)/ Chartered Secretary-ship (ICSI), and Law OR The candidate seeking admission in MBA programme should have cleared the OPENMAT entrance exam conducted by university.
- Duration : It can be completed in minimum 2 years and maximum 5 Years.
- Age : No Age Bar
- Fee Structure : It consists 21 courses. The Fees for each course is Rs. 1800/- (Rs. 3,000 for MS-100)
- Last Date for MBA Online admission : For July 2020 Session, the Last Date of Submitting Online Application Form is 30th June, 2020.
The Prospectus fees of MBA is Rs 1000/-. The applicants who will download the form from university online portal need to pay a fee of Rs 1,050/- (Rupees one thousand fifty only) in the form of Demand Draft(DD) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. IGNOU has followed the semester system approach for this programme. Semester system is followed from January to June and July to December.

IGNOU MBA OPENMAT-XLVII Hall Ticket / Admit Card: The university has uploaded or published hall tickets 10 days before IGNOU OPENMAT XLVII Entrance exam. Ignou send hall tickets to students via post as well. If students don’t receive, can download by university website: www.ignou.ac.in to appear in the examination. Without hall ticket, no one enter in an examination hall.
IGNOU MBA OPENMAT XLVII Entrance Exam Result : As per sources, the university has declared or published OPENMAT XLVII Entrance result after 45 days from the date of the OPENMAT XLVII entrance examination.
