The university has invited applications from eligible applicants for admission to MCA (Master of Computer Applications ) by going through an entrance exam which will be conducted by university in the self financing university centres for the academic session 2017-18. The duration of MCA discipline is 3 years (i.e 6 Semester). The name of self financing university centres and no. of seats alloted are as follows : Calicut University Campus (30), Dr. John Matthai Centre, Aranattukara (30), Kuttippuram – Malappuram (35), Manjeri – Malappuram (30), Mannarkkad (30), Muttil – Wayanad (30), Palakkad (30), Puthukkad – Thrissur (30), Pullut – Thrissur (30), Thalikkulam – Thrissur (30), Thiroor – Thrissur Dist.(30), Vatakara – Kzhikode (30). The total no. of seats for for mca admission is 365. The date of entrance exam is 12th June 2017 (tentative) and exam centre will be Calicut University Campus and Thrissur. The exam duration will be of 2 hours and will have 100 objective type questions of 1 mark each from the mentioned disciplines. Eligibility Criteria for MCA Admission : To be eligible for calicut university mca admission, student must have passed any bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education with Computer science / Computer Application / Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering and Technology as one of the main or subsidiary subjects with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA aggregate. A relaxation of 5% mark will be given to SEBC and PH candidates. SC / ST candidates need to get only a pass in the qualifying examination.
University of Calicut MCA Application Form : The university has upload MCA Application form on their official website. The application form fee is Rs 300/- (General Category) and Rs 100/- (SC / ST). Eligible students can fill form by E-payment method (SBT online / SBT E-chalan / Friends / Akshaya e-chalan) by going through the admission Website www.cuonline.ac.in. Eligible Students can apply Online by visiting the official website from 20th April to 16th May 2016. Firtly, needs to Enter Challan Number and Pass word and go ahead for completing the registration process for mca entrance exam.
After completing the required process, students needs to take a print out of the application and e-chalan receipt and needs to send to the Chief Co-Ordinator, CCSIT Centre, Calicut University Campus, University of Calicut, P.O. University of Calicut MCA Hall Ticket 2016 : Eligible students can download their hall ticket by visiting website www.cuonline.ac.in. The University of Calicut MCA Hall Ticket 2016 will be available on website at least 5 days before the entrance exam date. Without hall ticket, no will be allowed to enter in an examination hall. The Question Booklet which is issued to candidates should be returned along with the Answer Sheet to the Invigilator on completion of the Examination.
University of Calicut MCA Rank list and Counselling : As per university rule, the Rank list of MCA entrance exam will be prepared on the basis of total marks which is secured by the candidates in the entrance examination and will be available on official website.
